  • As we approach midsummer, the sun sets far enough north for the sunset to light up the skies behind the Moresnet Viaduct. An eastbound tank car train is led by one of the now-ubiquitous class 28 electrics.

One of their 66s shuttles the traffic between Born and Vise-Bas where CFL takes over for the nocturnal part of the trip via Gouvy. In this view 3017 and 3018 have tied onto the loads after dropping the empties under Vise's floodlights and are ready to pull south.
