  • Chain couplers.
  • A tight 90-degree curve on a grade up from the peat towards the factory. The white stuff next to the rails is sand used for traction.
  • The receiving yard at the works.

  • Grade crossing on the main line running towards the bog in the distance.
  • Rail joint. The sectional track with steel sleepers is laid directly onto the peat and apparently things didn't quite fit as intended.
  • One of the backhoes with extra-wide tracks.
  • Main line, loading siding, backhoes, and a large area yet to be harvested. The track is laid on untouched peat which shows the original level of the terrain before harvesting began.
